In this week’s episode, I will be joined by Brianna Fear-Keen. Brianna has been a dietitian for 14 years and had a variety of roles within the public system, private sector, and for her own business as a dietitian. Fun fact, she also had a business making and selling picnic blankets which she started when she was on maternity leave with her oldest. She has helped over 50 dietitians get set up or started in their business and she understands where you are coming from as a dietitian new in business having had businesses of her own. She knows what needs to happen to get you to where you want to be.
In this episode, we talked about the qualities that a dietician should have when starting a business. What are the different marketing strategies and tactics that a dietician should demonstrate in starting their own practice? What are the time-management tips for anyone who’s starting their own business? You don't need permission to start a business. Pursue what you are dreaming of and be prepared to take risks. Creating a business plan is a huge concrete goal. You have to know what it is that you need to achieve in your business - take one step at a time.
Hint: Â Live up to the expectations that they are going to receive from you.
